This 128 page report crowdfunded by the industry, gives an insight into sector sustainability, and reflects the progress made in technologies, materials and operational practices to reduce environmental impacts. It’s main chapters, authored by experts in their own fields cover Governance, Resources and Waste, Water, Food, Energy, Travel and Transport.

Smart Energy For Festivals and Events

This guide provides event professionals with knowledge and practical resources to manage temporary energy, reducing environmental impacts and costs. It is created from a collection of modular resources, factsheets and case studies that are available online. This edition is European in focus, reflecting the progress being made across Europe on this topic, and the partners involved with the guide’s content. Several language versions are available.
